Lovely cafe and visitors centre. We got some info on our walk to high Force and the staff who helped were very friendly and helpful. We then came back after our walk for scones and coffees! Gorgeous! Reccomend taking cash if you can but they do take card it's just a little temperamental. Overall lovely experience and really pretty setting

Visited Sunday 14th October. Car parking is on a donation basis at a pay machine. Car park is fairly small and is usually reasonably full over the weekends, we still managed to get a space. A notice says please use High Force if it's full. The Visitors Centre is very nice, we had coffee, cheese scone and a bakewell slice. Reasonable prices and very tasty. The lady in charge is very friendly and welcoming. We walked to Low Force which is stunning and then on to High Force. I prefer Low Force, it's so much prettier but obviously not as dramatic as High Force. Back to the carpark and we headed to Gibson Cave, Summerhill waterfall and the Quarry, probably around 600m so it's a short walk but a lovely one. We've been a few times over the past couple of years and will again, we live an hour away. Such beauty.

Fantastic little tearoom and gift shop for weary walkers. Next to the waterfall and caves and a short walk from Low Force. Parking by donation, lots of toilets and clean facilties. Picnic areas.

Fantastic visitors centre and easy walk to the Low Force falls. Super friendly staff, lovely cafe and a small but interesting selection of gifts and useful items such as a dog lead for when our dog chewed through his!

Went to see the waterfall and swim but water was a torrent after all the rain. It's a lovely place for a walk and a swim, when the water allows! Nice cafe too. Parking is more than adequate and payment is a donation.

The best place to park up if you're visiting Low Force and walking up to High Force. Parking was donation of £2-£4 and with no worry of getting a parking fine. No extra charge for access to the Forces. Bowlees visitor centre has a lovely cafe and is on hand for route guidance and toilets. Lots of family and dog friendly walks from here. A great day out. Don't forget to follow the country code and take your rubbish home. The only money we spent to access the Low & High Force was our £4 donation as we were there 4/5 hours. As it is a voluntary donation £1/2 could have been half day and no registration details were required other than putting our machine ticket then on the dashboard. Took our grandchildren and they loved the whole day, along with a picnic. Finished off at Bowlees visitor centre for an ice-cream and cold drink. Thoroughly recommend here. Will try the enticing cakes next time too

I love exploring this area there is so much to see and do, we have only been a couple of times so still have a lot to explore but this is definatley a great place to go with the family! Nice paths around and really interesting photography exhibition around the trees! The waterfalls are beautiful and waters crystal clear loads of great parts to paddle in and loads of picnic areas!

Great base for good walks! The visitor centre contains a great café and well-stocked gift shop, as well as a lot of very interesting information boards, both beautiful and educational. There's a room upstairs you can book too.

Great place for a pit stop - delicious quiche and salad on outdoor seats, and really lovely indoor space too with nice little shop. Beware of big groups descending - we were there on a bank holiday weekend and staff were a bit overwhelmed by the lunchtime rush as there were 3 groups of 20+ people all at once!

Amazing little place with easy access to Gibson cave. Great tea room with easy access and parking. Best place to aim for if you are going to see Gibsons cave and Google maps will give you the run around. Literally 10 minutes stroll from the main car park to the waterfall and cave.
